Welcome and thank you for visiting my site. The purpose of this site will be to showcase my photography and writing as well as to post weekly blogs covering everything from current events to music and film reviews, as well as general rants about life and the quirky things that happen to us every day.
This site has been a culmination of years of both intended purposes and total coincidences. I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. I lived in the city until 1996, when I moved to Banff National Park, Alberta. I spent most of the past thirteen years in that area before returning to Toronto in 2009.
I have always had a passion for writing and that led me to pursue a career in journalism. I am a chef today, so you can see how that turned out! Something funny happened along the way though. By enrolling in journalism studies, I had the good fortune to take a couple of photography courses and as a result, discovered one of my great loves and passions.
I have been taking pictures now for fourteen years and in that time have been lucky enough to travel extensively across Canada and the United States. Landscape and wild life were initially my primary subjects, but in the past few years I have branched out to include architecture and portraits. This was greatly influenced by two trips taken to Cuba, where I spent hours wandering the streets of Havana, immensely inspired by its people and centuries old architecture.
The other great passion I was fortunate to stumble upon was cooking. Perhaps the greatest and most organic of all the arts; I have been fortunate enough to carve out a wonderful career for myself in the industry and am always striving to discover and try new and interesting dishes.

As well, should you ever be interested in hosting a dinner party or small function, I also run my own catering business and would be happy to offer my services.
